After nearly 30 years as a community arts organisation, YAC is sad to announce the closure of the YAC office from Wednesday 30th March. Grant cuts by Wakefield MDC means that YAC no longer has funding to support its core costs, although funding from West Yorkshire Grants will enable us to continue planned YAC outreach projects in Wakefield and West Yorkshire for the time being.

We will continue to look at ways of working in the region and we sincerely hope that we are able to celebrate our 30th Anniversary with you all next year. Until then, we would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to the thousands of participants, supporters, writers and artists who have worked with us over the years. We wouldn't have got this far without you all. Keep up the good work!
